Sport Equilibre Foundation Statement,
In respond to the United Nations declaration as 2005 year of sports and physical education, the Sport Equilibre Foundation, co-founded by Etienne Rapp and Stéphane Barras is based in Crans-Montana - Switzerland, The first action of the foundation was to organize the sport4development week during the Swiss Comptoir Festival in September 2005. During 10 days the Foundation brought under the same roof, variouse organizations, foundations and initiatives using sports as social benefits. The following year Stephane Barras handed the "Sportd4award" to Mister Adolf Ogi UN Sport Secretary in recognation for all his effort for sport development achievements (see above picture).
In July 2009, the Foundation Chairman, Mister Etienne Rapp, passt away and with it a great humanitarien actor. Today the Foundation try to find way against obesity among jungsters.
